Tobias Schmidt is now heading the software engineering department of MSAID GmbH.
Tobias Schmidt was a (bioinformatics) phd student at the chair of proteomics and bioanalytics (TU Munich). His major research interests include in-memory databases (SAP HANA), prediction of peptide features for mass spectrometry based proteomics (retention time, fragment intensities) as well as porting legacy (academic) systems to new technologies.
